To be honest, I’m making this up as I go…

To be totally honest, I’m not sure what I’m going to do with this Blog section yet. It just seemed like a good idea when I was setting up my site. My primary focus (aside from being a dad) is working on Book 2 right now. However, I can see the benefit to having a place to come share my thoughts.

Everything just flew together last week for me to push the book out when I did. It’s possible I jumped the gun slightly. However, I’m incredibly proud of how the book is doing out in the wild so far. And driving my wife a little crazy with the numbers.

I’m a data nerd. I can’t help it.

Anyways, I got a rough Chapter One of Book 2 written today. I actually feel like I have a much better grasp on where Book 2 is going then I did at this stage with Book 1. When I started writing Book 1, it was just because I was bored. But I stuck with it through everything.

Maybe I’ll do some blog posts about the process that got me to here at some point. That could be fun.

Lots else going on in my world too. Fires back home in California. A cousin in the hospital with a surprise brain tumor. And my son started walking a couple weeks ago, so he’s keeping me seriously on my toes.

I wasn’t a dad when I wrote book 1. I was during the editing process, but I don’t think that bled through into the final product much. I wonder if it will for Book 2. Can’t see how it wouldn’t.

Anyways, not sure if anyone will read this or not. Probably should have had a post here before I pushed out the site to everyone. But jumping the gun is kind of my entire “go to market” strategy!

Anyways, it’s late, off to sleep.
